Easiest way to link User Stories to other Issue Type?

Hallo,

we've created a new Issue Type and are now trying to link User Stories to this Issue Type. So you can click on the new Issue Type and see all the User Stories related to it. Basically like an Epic just with another name.

What would be the best/easiest way to do it?

Hi @Markus,

Currently, it is not possible to have custom EPIC issue type. Here is an improvement request: JSWSERVER-7203

Thanks,

Swathi

Voted :)!

Setting up a new project, creating epics there and then linking the User-Stories from the other boards to the epic and collect them this way should work tough?

Yes, you can update your board filter so that the epics span across different/multiple projects. For example "(issueType=Epic and project in (test, demo)".  It would be a good idea to put your epics in a separate backlog project.

Cheers!

But i can only link to one Epic right? So if I have a User Story linked to a "real" Epic then i cant link it to my "Collection Epic" too, correct?
