as our priority atlassian support did not work for this question and they suggested to ask the community, I am asking the community.
Description
Hello there,
got quite simple question from customer, but could not find the answer.
Customer would like to edit help text "the local help" for the issue types in create screen next to issue type drop down. The little question mark.
Cannot find and documentation related to that.

It's nothing but just a description of the respective issuetypes.
If you want to edit it, you can do it with the steps below,
Administration->Issues->IssueTypes->Edit (for which issuetype you want to change)->Update the description->Update it.
Once it is done, "the local help" will be updated accordingly in the create screen.

@YogeshKR well sir, thats what I thought will do the work.
After the 10+ years with Jira I am kind of confident about that.
But.
For Example Epic:
The text "Epic Story" is not editable. Issue type description is something totally different. That means, local help is using the text, provided somewhere else.
