Email Configure For Gmail Server over Jira

Hi Support

I have installed jira for start the new thing's i want to be check the setting that as i need to configure mail setup for send mail on invite new user but when i am sending invitation to new user i didn't get any mail something is going wrong as i am not having my own gmail server so i am using the all below details please check where i am wrong so that i can configure successfully

Please let me know should i configure mail server with my gmail account as i am not having any mail server if yes then send me procudure how to send mail for new invitation as i tried inviation send showing but mail not receive

You can change the Protocol to be SECURE_SMTP. And for the Username ankush.satija is enought withoud the @google.com domain. After you have made the changes test the connection to see if you are able to connect to the Gmail. You can try to sent a test email Administration > Mail > Outgoing mail > Send test email
