Error by saving the profile prefereces

After editing the preferences in user profiles, we get the following error message: java.lang.NullPointerException: Name is null

The error is independent of whether changes were made​​. The error is also independent of user or browser.

We have more than 100 projects in Jira. We can avoiding our problem, then we allow users to watch issues.

The Atlassian Support has created a jira bug, see

You have any projects in your Jira system?

There is a 'bug' in Jira if you don't have any project created... check this :
