Hi,

If I, in the backlog, change my story points, this is not updated in Portfolio, estimates does not change?

Is that possible?

THanks,

Jeroen

Hi, Jeroen!

There's a great thread about this problem here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Story-points-are-not-synchronized-in-Portfolio/qaq-p/189113/jump-to/first-unread-message

If that does not apply to you, there are a few other things that could be happening.

If the Story is Resolved or Closed, the Plan won't update the estimate. If you've changed the Story Points field on the Epic, it won't update. Portfolio does not recognize changes to the field on that issue type (this has been the behavior since 1.x).

If you're changing it on the Story, and looking for it in the Plan, clicking the calculate button should pull that estimate in (provided the above things are false).
