Filters are not working for one user, the results display some field names, repeated. Myself and other users see the proper results. Also, the user can't create a filter because the dropdown is not populated, with the filter constructs. It seems only this one user's account is affected, and we get the same results from any PC. I have already re-indexed, twice. It seems the user's profile is corrupted somehow, but is it temporary? Will a disable/re-enable of the user's account make a difference? Will stopping/starting the JIRA service resolve any cached file errors. Reboot the server? Any Ideas? Please advise.
The user is now able to create a new filter by typing, and a valid filter was created. However, any other filters show the same columns as the working one. This seems like some progress after a previous re-index, and have now re-indexed again.
I think this was all single-user-induced, and not a malfunction of JIRA. (this user has about 100 filters, maybe more) While looking at the filter results, the user had pressed the Add Columns button and then the My Defaults button, which facilitated adding more fields and also reordered the columns. Going back into each filter, and clicking the Filter button instead, allowed the user to recreate the proper filters.
