×Hi everybody,
i'm using groovyrunner to send a custom email in a workflow transition. Post function works fine but i would like to set sender's name. At the moment as sender's name appears the first part of the email.
e.g
Sender's email is:
firstname.lastname@example.com
By default as sender's name appears:
firstname.lastname
How could i set the name of the sender in order to appear the name that i want?
Thanx in advance,
Kostas
hi,
after some experiments i've found it. In the field from email address syntax must be something like:
Another User <anotheruser@example.com>

Hrm... you can set the From address to be whatever you like, in 2.0.0 of the plugin. Is that what you mean?
Or do you want it to be programmatically driven? Couple of screenshots would help us understand what you need here...

OK... i'm not sure. Try putting the display name in angled brackets after the address. You might need to experiment a bit....
