Has the limit of user picker been removed since JIRA 5?

Hello,

In the below URL, it is described that auto-completion of user names in the 'User Picker' popup screen only works when the number of users is under 5,000.

However, in the online manual for JIRA 5,0 and up, this description is not found.

Does this mean that the limitation for user picker has been removed?

Yes, this restriction is no more applicable from JIRA 5.0 onwards.
