Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×Hi,
I have just installed the SumUp add-on to get a total of Story points for each status associated with a story. I've integrated these on a dashboard, giving a nice overview of all my totals.
Although I'm happy with the functionality the plugin brings me, I don't see the point of showing the 'Column Totals' for each of my issue filters, since I don't always search for stories, and even then I don't always want a total of the story points. It would be great to have the option of disabling the 'Column Totals' by default.
Also, it would be nice to be able to restrict the access of this add-on to specific users, or groups. This way the filtering view can remain the same for all other users (and other projects!), instead of changing the view for everyone to support a request of several.
Hi Arjon,
thank you for your feedback to our SumUp. We are always interested in features users would like to see in our add ons. As Guilherme said, our issue tracker would be a better place to submit these requests than here. There I have created two issues for you: one for the default behaviour request (https://cp-systems.atlassian.net/browse/SUM-10) and one for the restrict access request (https://cp-systems.atlassian.net/browse/SUM-11).<br< a="">>
Maybe one little hint: If you have created a filter and saved it, the setting of the "show totals" checkbox will be saved for the next time. If this is deactivated, you won't get displayed the sum row in the issue table in the issue navigator or at the dashboard.
You can find some documentation and a video about our add on at the two following links:
https://cp-systems.atlassian.net/wiki/display/SUM/User+Guide+SumUp+Add-On+0.6.0<br< a="">>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-E2yuWa_Kv8<br< a="">>
Hope I could help you
Julian
Thanks! I'll subscribe to those issues. I do like that the option isn't there for filter subscribers when it's not enabled by the filter owner. I'll switch to the other issue tracker for further comments.
