Hello there,
Some buggy code has created multiple activity types in our jira instance and we wish to delete these activity objects. This make the activity widgets difficult to configure. Could any one help me on how to delete these activity types. PFA the screenshot as well.
Regards,
Aru
Hi Aru,
I agree that doesn't look pretty. However I have not been able to figure out just yet how to recreate this problem with my own Jira instance.
I suspect that you might have a 3rd party plugin in Jira that is responsible for these specific streams, but this could be any number of plugins that do test plans. There are 40 plugins in the marketplace for Jira Server that appear to be related to creating test plans.
I suspect that you could disable the plugin responsible to prevent these appearing here, but I'm sure that it probably going too far here as it would prevent the functionality of that plugin entirely. If you can at least identify which plugin is responsible, at least then you can reach out to their support in order to see if this is a bug, or if there is a way to configure their plugin to prevent this from happening.
Regards,
Andy
Hi Andy,
this was created by our own custom plugin (I have to admit that it was really really buggy). Finally I could find out the table storing these activity streams( AO_563AEE_ACTIVITY_ENTITY ) and I was able to clean those.

Arun
