How can we integrate JIRA server with splunk?? Kindly let us if this can happen. If yes then please provide us the steps which are needed to achieve this. If there is any third party that needs to be reached kindly provide us the support URL of the same.

I would like to know how to implement Splunk without add-on. There is a request for me to add some lines to server.xml file.
Hi,
I have made an app that can visualize Splunk saved searches in Jira.
These visualizations are made as Jira gadgets so they can be used in Jira Dashboards and in Confluence macros.
You can find it here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222075/splunk-to-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview

Hi There,
Yes, Jira can talk to Splunk and vice versa. We use Splunk Enterprise (+ES) for multiple customers feeding into a single Jira instance.
A custom app and alert action will be needed to have data pass from Splunk to Jira (i.e. Create a Jira ticket when an event of interest has been found).
Likewise, the Jira Add-on for Splunk can be set up to ingest Jira data in Splunk.
Unfortunately, you'll need to be a bit more specific as to your use case before we are able to provide further information/assistance.

Can you tell me which add-on that you use? The one on Splunkbase appears to be quite old.

I agree with Nic here, it depends on what kind of integration you are looking for here. If you're wanting to find an automated means to turn splunk events into Jira Service Desk tickets, then you might want to take a look at this plugin, Real-Time Splunk for Jira Service Desk.

It depends on what you mean by "integrate"? Without that, the only answer I can give you is "Yes, Jira can integrate with other things"
