How can we remove the "{code:none}" / {code} tags when syncing comments from JIRA to external system

shrikant maheshwari July 18, 2022

Hi All,

I have integrated JIRA with External system via REST API and are syncing some data between the 2 systems.

Whenever I am using the Advance formatting in JIRA like "code" or "table" etc and making comments in JIRA then the comment gets sync to External system but the tags like {code:none}" / {code}  are also seen in the External system.

How can i prevent these tags from being visible in the external system ?

The tags are part of the content, so you'll need your external system to understand them, or have an extract process that knows how to remove them.
