Based on this issue, https://bitbucket.org/pigsty/usetfs/issue/59/unable-to-sync-both-task-and-sub-task, sub-tasks should sync just fine. But as I cannot find information about this in the wiki, https://bitbucket.org/pigsty/usetfs/wiki/Home, I am uncertain how I set this up to work properly for bi-directional sync?!
Hi Ivar,

I guess you mean https://bitbucket.org/pigsty/usetfs/wiki/Groovy%20expressions, not https://bitbucket.org/pigsty/usetfs/wiki/Groovy%2520expressionsas the link says :) Found it there - I'll check it out.

Yes, somehow % sign was urlencoded when I did copy paste :)

@Andrzej, I still have some issues on this one. And the documentation is not that helpful:
- On the work item sync. config tool, there is a checkbox for "Try to sync parent/child..." Should this one be ticked off?
- Secondly, with this setting not used, TFS does not create any links for parent/sub-issues. This is quite frustrating.
Any idea?

I have managed to get a sync on this now by specifying that Tasks in TFS <> Technical Tasks in Jira. This is not optimal however, so I will try and see if scripting will enable me to differentiate a Task on sub-level from a Task on parent-level.
