How do I remove the green checkmark ball that appears for resolved issues?

How do I remove the green checkmark ball? It's causing misalignment of issues in my filters. I'm using a custom field of links that show info for each link and for resolved issues it's placing that checkmark ball which then "moves" the information over and it isn't aligned with the same information in unresolved issues.

To remove it, you would need to hack the core code that causes it to be displayed.
