How do I show the value from the Creator column in Jira into a custom field?

Currently, I cannot show the creator column in the UI in the issue. I know Jira stores  the name of the person who created the issue in the Creator column.

I created Reporter after few issues were created. It populates fine as long as the Jira users are valid but I issues created in the past before I created the Reporter column so in scenarios where the user is no longer active it shows "Annoymous" rather than the name of the person of created the issue.

But when I look at the Creator Column, it has the name of the person who is no longer active. So I want to show the value in the from the Creator column into another customized column so I know who created the issue.

How do I show the value from the Creator column in Jira into a custom field?
