This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Connect Bitbucket Cloud to JIRA Server applications
It seems that the instructions are for linking a single user account. How do I set this up so that users do not have to go through these steps themselves?
Hi Jason,
JIRA uses a single Bitbucket account to pull through details, but development info will be visible to all JIRA users with the "View Development Tools" permission.
As mentioned in the instructions, you can generate the OAuth access token using the Bitbucket team account that owns the repo(s) you want to link.
All JIRA users with the "View Development Tools" permission will be able to see summary data from Bitbucket when viewing linked JIRA issues. However, to click through into Bitbucket and view code and other details, they'll need to login to Bitbucket using an account with access to the team repo(s).
Hope this helps.
Sam
