How do you add a post function to a global transition in the workflow editor?

In Jira's workflow editor, the dialog to create a global transition doesn't present post functions. Once the global transition exists, I can't find a way to access that other dialog with the validators and post functions etc.

How does a user get that?

It seems not possible in the Workflow Designer, but you can edit the post functions in the text view of the transition.
