×Good afternoon,
I am currently trying to implement the solution using Insight Discovery on multiple linux nodes using archive provided by Jira in Manage apps tab. However, when i install Discovery tool it generates me the same Instance ID which is CA04A (Screenshot provided below) when i open Discovery settings (mono Discovery.exe -s) for the first time. I tried to change it manually in Discovery.cfg, but it overwrites my changes with previously generated ID.
This instance ID plays a huge role as it exports data using it and Jira only synchronizes the latest data provided by unique instance ID.
I would like to know what could be done in this scenario or where this ID is stored.

Hi @Steve Berry ,
i believe this issue was resolved with newer versions of Discovery tool.
If it is not working for some reason, i managed to get the workaround solution.
Basically Instance ID checks the directory path when it generates. So you could use some unique prefixes in discovery directory (or any other directory in your discovery path), like /opt/insight/1_discovery/Discovery.exe, /opt/insight/2_discovery/Discovery.exe
This will generate unique Instance ID for sure.
