Hi all,
We recently moved our Jira Server instance from HTTP to HTTPS. However, when users from any project click the "Share" button by Export on issues the URL provided still shows up as an HTTP address. I was asked to fix this by our QA team and I have yet to determine the solution. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Hello @Trent Alton Calvert !
The address used by Jira to write links comes from its configured base URL, set in the administration interface. It's possible to browse Jira if this value isn't correct, but you'll notice things like dashboard gadgets not working correctly and various links written by Jira (such as the ones in email notifications) to be incorrect.
Fortunately, it's a pretty quick fix:
Jira does not need to be restarted after changing this value.
Cheers,

Thank you Daniel, that did update the URL for issue sharing. While the new link failed to pull up the issue, that's something I'll work through with the system admins. Thanks for your help!
