I have a JIRA filter that employs 'order by' in the Advanced query. ("Escalation Rank" is not EMPTY ORDER BY "Escalation Rank" ASC) The query displays, as expected, in JIRA.
However, when this filter is displayed in Confluence via the JIRA issues macro - the display does not honor the sort order. There appears to be no rhyme or reason in how the items are displayed...
Thoughts? Workaround?
Debbie, I tested on JIRA 7.3.x and Confluence 6.1.x and the "ORDER BY" was honored when the list was displayed in Confluence. May I ask what versions you are using? A similar issue was reported for Confluence 5.9.x: Ordering in JIRA filters does not work in Confluence
