How to create project with empty project role using a group but without some of those members?

Luca Edler June 25, 2018 edited

Just theoretically:

I want to create two new projects using an empty project role called 'developers'. When creating the project, I want f.e. the group 'developers' (containing developers "A" to "Z") to be assigned to the project role. But in project A just the developers A-R and in project B just the developers E-Z of this group.

Is it possible to add a project role to a project and assigning a group but with one or more person(s) of this group less? I haven't found a possibility so far.

Hello,

If you add a group to a role, then all members of this group will have the permissions of this role. You can not add a part of a group.

You can either create several groups or add users to roles.

Thank you! What a pity. This would be a useful feature!
