How to effectively trigger a linked issue's transition?

Vasco Nunes May 9, 2019 edited

I have two separate workflows on the same project:

  • The secondary workflow starts and ends on a given step of the main workflow.
  • The secondary workflow occurs on an issue linked to the main issue (which is handled by the main workflow).

I need to trigger a transition on the main workflow when the final step of the secondary workflow is reached. So this should be a transition on a linked issue.

I've tried both "automation for jira"

and "JSU AUTOMATION SUITE FOR JIRA"

I've also confirmed that the transition I want to trigger doesn't have any conditions or screens and that the user that performs the trigger has permissions for it.

However, none of this worked. In the "Automation for jira" the log says no related issue is found. In JSU, seems to occur the same (from the logs): "/secure/WorkflowUIDispatcher.jspa [c.b.j.j.service.impl.LinkedIssueUtilImpl] Found 0 linked issues". This is strange because the link is there:

Can anyone help with some hints, please?

Thank you!
