How to find where a plugin is being used in confluence?

deonvanniekerk May 30, 2019 edited

I need to ask users to use an alternative plugin to the one we have been using up to now.

How do I know which pages are using the plugin so I can convince the authors to use the new plugin?

Disabling it and seeing who complains is not the answer I need please.

Hi @deonvanniekerk

Most of add-ons in Confluence add macros. You can check macros usage on pages. Confluence list all macros from plugins and show where it is used. If no macros are used from specific project (Confluence shows what macros are from what add-on), then is there a big chance that add-on is not used.

More info: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/macros-139387.html#Macros-Macrousagestatistics

Seba
