How to hide issues with a certain status?

We want to be able to move issues to an Archive board so that they dont show up in our main Kanban board anymore but only in the Archive.

Our idea was to create an "archive" status that is in the archive and in the "To Archiv" column of our main Kanban board but not visible there. 

So:  Main Kanban Board -> Archiv 

Is this possible? Is there another solution? And yes how to do it?

Hi Markus,

what do you want to achieve with the archive-status? If you just want to clean the rightmost column of your board, you should click on "release" (on top of the rightmost column).

This will create a release version, assign all the issues to that version and so, all these issues will disappear from the board.
