How to hide some specific issue type from link dialog

hirok October 24, 2013

Hi,

I'd like to hide some link type like 'blocks' and 'duplicates' from an issue link dialog.
Is there any less-restricted solution on this.

I found following solution for this, but this requires to change a server file. I have administrator right for jira but I do not have the right to change the server file unfortunately.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14495618/how-to-hide-some-issue-link-types-in-the-issue-link-pop-up-window-for-jira-5-1-8

Any comment would be very helpful.

Hi,

If you are using JIRA StandAlone, then you can inform respected person to change it physically from backend server and restart the instance.

However, this is not possible to change for JIRA OnDemand due to restricted functions.

Best Regards

Steven
