How to inherit one custom field value to another custom field

For example I had fix versions field in two different issues like story and sub-task in same project,so what we entered in Story should come to Task

@mokkapati naveshchowdary You will need to use a 3rd party add-on like "Jira Miscellaneous Workflow Extensions" to achieve this. The specific workflow post-function provided by this add-on that you can use in the workflow of your Sub-task issue type is "copy field value from parent issue": https://innovalog.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JMWE/pages/68878488/Copy+field+value+from+parent+issue

 

NOTE: This is a paid add-on for JIRA Server.

@mokkapati naveshchowdary You can also solve this use case by using the below post-function from "JSU" in your Sub-task issue type workflow:-
