How to know the request channel type in validator

We want to apply a validator only to the requests created by JIRA and not to the one created by Email handler or portal. For this we know there is a property "request-channel-type" available. But this property gets filled after issues are created. We need to know this on validator where issues are validated before creation. How can we achieve the desired property?

It is possible with Adaptavist Scriptrunner plugin, with custom script validator function.
