How to make Workflow active

I made a Workflow and assigned it to a new Issue Type.

But the Workflow is still inactive.

How can I make it active?

At the time of assiging workflow to a new issue type we need to create a workflow scheme and then associate an issue type with a workflow.

then the next step is to go to project Administration>> Select Workflows >> Switch Scheme .

Select the Workflow scheme which you have created and click associate...

You need to associate workflow to a project, once its done Jira gives an option to publish the workflow.
