How to make the Fix version "future" read only

Hi,

We planned to release the Fix Version "future" from UnReleased to Released and to make read only.

After "Future" is Released, it still appears in the "Fix Version" drop-down but if a User tries to select it they will be presented with an error message. This helps educate them that "Future" should no longer be used.

You can archive your "future" version. It will still appear on any issues which already have it assigned to them, but it won't be able to be selected anymore.

From your project settings page, access your fix versions/releases, and in the actions menu for the future version, choose "archive".
