How to pin the menu bar

Hello everyone, 

is there a possibility to pin the menu so it won't hide when I scroll down? 

Sometimes we need to type in issue numbers very fast and its annoying to scroll to the top again. Another solution would be to pin just the search bar.

We use JIRA 7.12 server version.

This is just poor UI design by Atlassian.

The menu bar could easily be fixed in place (but never has been) so that JIRA users don't get RSI scrolling up/down to see the menu options.
