How to remove duplicate labels

When I search in Jira, I have two options for 'Labels' as seen below. There's no need for two, I only need one.

What would be the process of removing one of them? I can identify which column is more used than the other, so I'd like to just delete all of the ones in the lesser-used column.

Can I do this without going into each issue and manually removing them?

It would appear that some admin has created a custom field called Labels which is most unfortunate since that is already a system default field. You need to speak to the admin about removing or renaming.
