How to remove user from jira-users group which are already removed from Active directory.

Hi there,

I am trying to remove one user who has already left the organisation from jira-users group. The user is already removed from Active directory but it is still visible in the jira-users directory. 

That user is blocking one license that's why I wish to remove the user.  

I tried to go to the user account->Edit Groups->selected jira-users-> and leave selected groups.

But still the user exists in the group after refresh.

Is jira-users synchronysed with Active directory?

If yes, then you should correct AD group, not Jira one.

if no, try to disable this user.

I did not understand.

JIRA-users is synchronised with Active directory. The user is removed from the active directory but JIRA is still showing it in the jira-users as Inactive user.

Also How to disable the one user ?
