Assume you have 2 teams, each using their own JIRA to manage their side of a product development project. They decide to use one of the issue sync solutions which exist on the marketplace (here)
The challenge is to setup the synchronisation such that the existing common issues are brought 'under sync': Any future changes are automatically and bidirectionally synchronised.
Exalate allows to connect existing projects by uploading a csv file which maps local issues to the corresponding remote issue.

Hi,
Current IssueSYNC version 1.3.4 supports bulk issue creation (link to doc).
If you would like to link existing issues it is possible by inserting this into database (you will need to collect issue ids from both JIRA instances).
In case you want match issues from GUI, I suggest to request that on support (https://intenso.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/12).
