How to update ResolutionDate in Java ?

Here's my code, but it doesn't work .

mutableIssue.setResolutionDate(new java.sql.Timestamp(System.currentTimeMillis()))

 

Can someone help me out!

Hi @harainye ,

you code is correct but, after doing that, you need to save your changes through https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/8.0.1/index.html?com/atlassian/jira/issue/IssueManager.html and in particular through method 

updateIssue(ApplicationUser user,
                  MutableIssue issue,
                  EventDispatchOption eventDispatchOption,
                  boolean sendMail)
