How to update a JIRA system field description?

Hi,

I'm trying to update the "fix version/s" field default description. When I change the description for the field, the original instructions remain (i.e. "Start typing to get a list of possible matches or press down to select.")

How can the originil instructions for the field be removed?

if you want to change descripton of fixversion then you need to edit vm file, which is located at somewhare here

...\atlassian-jira\WEB-INF\classes\templates\plugins\fields\edit

you check for <...>\atlassian-jira\WEB-INF\classes\templates\jira\issue\field\versions-edit.vm
