We are trying to use the new (to us) Git Integration for Jira plugin. However it requires a Personal Access Key (PAK) that is specific to an account on Git. Typically we've used Deploy Keys or Deploy Tokens to give access to the projects for the entire team for access similar to this.
How do teams use this plugin without designating a specific user as the one use PAK is used? Is there another plugin that uses the Deploy Keys? Or is there a way to set up GitLab that a person's individual account is not used but a general one?
Contacted Big Brass Band (the plugin creators) and they said most create a "Jira Integration" user account and add that to projects that want to be seen in Jira. That's what we ended up doing.
Also, they've got great customer service! They were really nice over email and helpful.
