Neha Brahmankar December 10, 2017 edited

I want to upgrade  JIRA  from 6.3.6 to JIRA 7.x.x.

Which version is stable JIRA 7.4  or JIRA 7.5?

Please suggest.

All versions available on the standard download page are "stable".

Atlassian release "Early Access" and Beta versions separately for those of us who want them

Hi Neha!

Feel free to use EOL policy  and release notes for answer for your question.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/atlassian-support-end-of-life-policy-201851003.html

You can see 7.4 and 7.5. has the similar EOL.

Don't forget about migration hub before upgrade to 7.x release from 6.x release and upgrade notes.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/migration/jira-7?tab:platform=1

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver075/upgrading-jira-applications-manually-935390937.html

For example, I am trying to use the latest version for my instance, like 7.6.1.

Hope it helps.

Cheers,
