issue creating epics in jira

The request sent from SolMan looks fine. But the response shows this error message:

{"error":{"code":"1004","message":"Internal problem while creating issue for project JIR. Epic Name is required.\r\n"}}

That would suggest that "SolMan" is not sending data for the Epic Name field, and your Jira project/issuetype is set up to require it.

You'll need to configure SolMan to send the necessary information, or configure Jira not to require it.

by default jira Epic Name LOCKED its a required field and the the solman seems to be fine the config is this:https://github.com/SAP/solman-fb-jira-addon/blob/master/doc/ADDON_CONFIGURATION.md

You will need to get SOLMAN to issue a REST call that tells Jira to transition the issue from one status to another.  We can't really help you with that - it's coding in Solman, not Atlassian.
