Importing issues into JIRA from CSV

Hi,

Earlier today I was trying to import 76 issues into JIRA using "Import issues from CSV" under the issues tab. 

Is there a way to import the fields into a particular issue type? Currently it just defaults to creating the issues as business features but I want them to be created as a custom issue type called "Constraints".

The fields I want are on the constraints issue type, otherwise I could just bulk change the type to constraints after but it won't show the correct fields.

Hey Tom,

There is.  If you have an "Issue Type" column in your CSV you can select what type of issue that item will be imported as (i.e. Constraints)

I tried that but it didn't seem to work, using JIRA server 6.4.12
