I'm new to ALM Structure in Jira. Currently we manually adjust Epic dates based on the latest target end date of it's child stories. Is it possible to have this date roll-up to the epic automaticaly?
It depends on what hosting type you are on. If you are on Server or Data Center you could create a Formula to identify the latest target end date of the child stories and then use an Attribute to Issue Field Effector to push the value to the target end date of the Epic.
If you are on Cloud, this functionality is not yet available.
A quick way to identify the hosting type is to check whether you have an option to "Show Generators" (Cloud) or "Automation" (Onprem) when you are in a structure.
