I'm relatively new to Jira. I've been able to set up filters for issues as well as dashboard widgets. However, there are a bunch of gadgets in the dashboard that refer to 'Rich Filter' (Rich Filter Results', 'Rich Filter Smart Gauges', 'Rich Filter Two Dimensional Statistics', to name a few). But to use them, you have to set up a 'rich filter'.
Can anyone tell me what a Rich Filter is, as opposed to a plain old generic filter? How do you set them up? What's the benefit of using them?
