Instance health and what it means

Hi all,

We have a data center version for jira and today I noticed that one of the instance encountered a db issues. The question I have is what is the best way to catch rogue instance issues such as described above? I have found this endpoint "/rest/troubleshooting/1.0/check/". However, I do not really understand what all of those metrics mean even after looking at the documentation. Is there any depth articles on this which tells me exactly what all those health check mean? Any help is appreciated.
