Is it possible to change the Event which is triggered by an issue update per project.

We are trying to customize the notifications which are sent for each project.  We have built the Velocity templates and assigned them to new Events in Jira.  Is there a way to specify which Event is triggered at issueupdated, issuecommented, or issueclosed in individual projects.

I think you would need to customize velocity templates for issueupdated, issuecommented, issueclosed considering for which project the templates run. I mean there will be a condition in your template: if project = TEST then return this html part else return some other html. I think it will not work to the text emails
