Is it possible to create new button on Zypher test cycle screen and based on click it will trigger some executable at back end?

Button can be visible for selected users only if possible.

Thought behind this approach: In automation, we thought to have Jira itself as our execution UI and it can be easily achieved through this one button. Now test cycle can be created manually and assign this activity to tester which he can executed by clicking only single button.

Please let me know the possibility
