Is it possible to limit JIRA access to one unique session?

I have just discovered whilst hunting for the source of a performnace problem that some users regularily have 10 or so dashboards open at a time which was causing a lot of read write activity each time the gadgets were updating. Is there anyway to limit this to say 2 or so sessions per machine/IPAddress?

Many thanks

Nick

You may want to use this solution:

Another option is to increse gadget refresh rate timeout.
