Is there a plugin supporting a custom cascading version picker selection field type?

Hello,

I would like to use a custom field of type cascading select Version Picker, preferably one which allows both single or more than one choice from the second field, e.g. main version = Delivery1, minor versions = 1.0.0, 1.0.1.

The reason is that we do builds on a weekly basis, so the main version list becomes huge very quickly if we identify all of the minor versions as separate versions in the list.

Does anyone know of a plugin, or has anyone else solved this problem before, please?

I can't imagine it is an unusual way to work.

Many thanks, Lesley

You could do it with the nFeed plugin which allows cascade-select custom fields populated with database data: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.valiantys.jira.plugins.SQLFeed/version/4232

So you just gotta figure out how to pull out version information from your JIRA database into the fields and you're good to go.
