We currently have two licensed Jira products owned by two different departments. One uses Jira Core, Confluence and Service Desk. The other owns Jira Software and Confluence.
We are looking for a way we can allow information to be exchanged between these two separate environments (both have unique URLS). Ideally, we would want to share some confluence sites and some "issue" based tickets.
Please advise if anyone has done this or if this is even possible. We have developed a lot in each environment, so to migrate to one or the other maybe problematic if we have to combine to one license model.
Hello Eric,
Scott points to one of the add-ons which supports your use case. Take into account that there are different solutions on the marketplace - check following query

We are the team behind Exalate (which is one of these solutions)
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.exalate.jiranode/server/overview
It fully covers your use case, and we are very willing to help in case you decide to evaluate our solution.
