Hi,
For any task we can set the original estimate , start date , end date and log the work. assignee can simply log their work, so we can calculate the total logged time for every assignee for every period of time.
For example, using eazyBi we generate the below report which calculate the total logged time for every assignee for the picked time period
for example
Time [Feb-2020]
Assignee Total logged time
We need to find a way to plan the task,i.e plan the task to be worked on specific days (let us name it as "Planned Estimate"). for example TASK-5 assigned to Assignee1
"Planned Estimate"
==================
26-Feb-2020 8 hours
27-Feb-2020 8 hours
28-Feb-2020 8 hours
29-Feb-2020 8 hours
30-Feb-2020 8 hours
1-March-2020 8 hours
2-March-2020 8 hours
3-March-2020 8 hours
Log Time
=========
26-Feb-2020 6 hours
27-Feb-2020 6 hours
29-Feb-2020 6 hours
30-Feb-2020 6 hours
1-March-2020 8 hours
2-March-2020 8 hours
3-March-2020 8 hours
So we can get the following report which show the sum of the time logged and the sum of the "Planned Estimate"
Time [Feb-2020]
Assignee Total logged time Total Planned
------------------------------------------------------------------
Assignee1 24 40
The question is: is there a way to plan the task to be worked on specific days (let us name it as "Planned Estimate") and if there is any addon can do this?
Thanks
Hi,
you could achieve that with Tempo Planner and the Auto plan time add-on from OBSS. For time tracking report you would additionally need Tempo Timesheets to compare planned time vs logged time.
Let me if you need more information on this use case scenario.
Thanks
Nothing out of the box. There may be a plugin.

No. I would search for time tracking, scheduling in the marketplace. I haven't had a need for that level of scheduling/reporting
