Is there a way to sync 2 Jira instances together?

Kristen Riddle March 1, 2018

Our company is wanting to sync our Jira instance with another company instance (we both have server version). So that we can update tickets on our boards. Is this possible?

Hi @Kristen Riddle,

You can also check out Backbone Issue Sync for Jira, which has an easy-to-use UI that you can use to set up a Jira <> Jira synchronization within minutes.

For a quick introduction to Backbone, and a demonstration on how to configure a synchronization, you can take a look at the crash course video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjuVazs0UIU

If you have any further questions, please ask and I'll be happy to help!!

Cheers, Tom.

One of these is Exalate (available for cloud and server)

To show off - here is how Exalate can be used to synchronise agile projects including epics, sprints, stories - the whole lot

There are several apps that offer "sync" functionality within the same Jira or between two separate instances.

See the top options in this search result.
