Is there an admin interface for resetting field and screen configs for a number of projects?

I have a large number of projects that I need to move to a different Field Configuration and Screen Configuration scheme. 

Is there an interface provided somewhere that would allow me to do this more quickly than one project at a time?

Sounds great, but I have multiple business units using our instance, and so changing the default schemes will cause problems for other business units.

Couldn't you change the schemes associated with the projects? This would spare you from all the manual changes.

If these are also in use by other projects, when you will have to opt for the less cumbersome of the tasks.
